Bharat B Das, also known as Bharat Sopori, is a vibrant theatre personality born in Kashmir at BOMAI, SOPORE settled down now here in AMBALA (HARYANA) since 1991. Ambala Cantt being the second birthplace of the Project Director as he started his life here from 1991,after leaving homes and hearths behind in Kashmir 1n 1990 due to turmoil. The passion to be on the top helped him in making the nest here and lord also made things going easy day by day. Ambala Cantt gave much love, respect and a dream to live in AMBALA and for people of AMBALA. The passion of theatre created a thought in the mind of Mr. Sopori which is to give AMBALA a team of theatre persons who can perform on stage and enhance their capabilities and make their way to television on national level, This thought encouraged him to create the group VEYTH THEATRE GROUP and CULTURAL SOCIETY (regd.) The motto of which is to invite and organize a group of youth of AMBALA and others to perform on stage ,the theatre activities in AMBALA with the objective of disseminating information on acting potential. Though Mr. Bharat Sopori has remained associated with so many plays in many ways and was the project director of play “Paalne Ka Poot”, the first production of VTG Ambala. He started direction with the play “Sambandh” and the play was staged on 19th of March, 2014. The play “Sambandh” was designed and directed by Bharat Sopori. On 4th Jan 2015 Play “ORDER ORDER” was staged at GMN COLLEGE AMBALA CANTT, Play written by AMAN BHATIA and Directed and Designed by Bharat Sopori, an indigenous production of VTG AMBALA. On 2nd Nov a 20 mnt Short play was staged at SD Sr Sec SCHOOL AMBALA CANTT in collaberation with Star Plus and Dainik Bhaskar”BANDHAN RISHTOON KA” written by AMAN BHATIA and Directed by BHARAT SOPORI.In Dec 2015 play KABULIWALA was staged in SD SR SEC School AMBALA CANTT, at MACC Kurukshetra on 14th JUNE 2016 and subsequent show at KALIBARI SHIMLA in All India Theatre Festival 2016 “NATAKBAAZ” organised by SAARTHAK KARNAL on12 NOV 2016, Play directed by Bharat Sopori, 2nd show of PARINDAA was staged in SD College AMBALA cantt on 2nd May 2017 in 3 days Theatre festival by Haryana Kala Parishad. VTG staged Play TOTA AUR AAINA on 12th Nov at GMN College Ambala cantt. On 23rd of June 2018 Piyush Mishra’s play ” JAB SHAHER HAMARA SOTA HAI” was staged at Farooka Khalsa Sr Sec School AMbala Cantt at 6 Pm. The play was dedicated to Guruji Late Padamshri Moti Lal Kemmu and the audience applauded the act. Continuing the stage drama VTG staged 14th production Padamshree Moti Lal Kemmu’s Play “TOTA AUR AAINA” at ARYA GIRLS COLLEGE Ambala Cantt on 11th Jan 2019 at 12 noon. Play was directed by Bharat Sopori and was staged in presence of Reg Director of Multi Art Cultural center Kurukshetra and other dignitaries of Haryana Kala Parishad. Main leads in the play were Akash Sharma, Renu Rani, Sandeep Kumar, Indu Shekhar, Sanjana Thapa, Dheeraj Gulati and many more. From 2nd OCT 2022 we have started rehearsing new play HIND KE SIPAHI to be directed by Bharat Sopori and intend to stage on 19th of Nov 2022 at Ambala Cantt with support of HARYANA KALA PARISHAD Govt of Haryana.
